Privacy and optional measurement

Optional usage measurement starts only after you select “Allow measurement” in the footer. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. You can switch it off there at any time. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep measurement off.
What is counted?
Only daily totals for predefined page views, project link clicks, GitHub and email clicks, category choices and demo calculations. Counts are not unique visitors, and they cover only visitors who opt in.
What is not stored?
The measurement database does not store IP addresses, user agents, referrers, search queries, form values or visitor identifiers. The collector uses a short-lived in-memory request limit; it does not write addresses to the database. No third-party analytics service or tracking cookie is used.
Retention and access
Daily counters are kept for 90 days and are accessible to the site owner through the server. They are not published. Ordinary hosting security logs are separate from these optional counters.
The demo
Customer features are processed in your browser. When measurement is enabled, a calculation only increments a demo counter; inputs and scores are never included.
